VH4 Handwritten serial#

Looking at a VH4. Handwritten serial #060652 signed by Stefan. Does this date this particular amp back to 1996? Did the VH4 ever go to a chasis-stamped serial# like the Herbert?

It's from year 2006. Mine is 060665.
As far as I know, all VH4 serial numbers are hand written with signature.

It's from year 2006. Mine is 060665.

PeterD or Peter S or Olaf would be better to respond to this, but mine has a stamped serial number on the the chassis - it reads "001/7_ _"
Having hung out at the ToneMerchants shop as far back as the day that it opened, I know that Peter D had hand-written the serial numbers on the early versions of the Herbert. I was wondering if it was the same for the VH4.

for the vh4:

first two numbers = year
third number = mono or stereo (0 for mono, 1 for stereo)
last three numbers = number of amp built in that year

060652 = 2006, mono, 652nd amp built in 2006

all the serials are still handwritten...
