Vh4 just blown its fuses.....any recommendations?

Hey guys,

My Vh4 just blown a couple of fuses earlier today ( i assume it has because two of the four red lights were on ). Any recommendations for a new set or should i just stick to the stock tubes? I'm looking for a tone very similar to Matt Bellamy of Muse and i heard once that during the Absolution tour he used a certain set of tubes, would anybody have any idea what they were? 6L6s? I realize the tubes do not "set' the tone of the amp but they must play some part.

I think the dude from the Muse was using 6L6s...but 6550's are now the way to go..IMO & many others. much more reliable. Check out some of the threads here..Lotsa lotsa lotsa great info on just about anything you can think of!!!
 
What are the tonal differences between the 6l6's, 6550's and the el34's??
