I'm using Boss ES-8 to switch channels on my VH4. I have set up some presets for every song.
Example: When I press number 1, I turn on some effects and switch to desired channel on VH4. I have only one effect controlled by MIDI on dedicated MIDI channel. VH4 has its own dedicated MIDI channel.
The problem is this: Sometimes when I'm switching from one preset to another, VH4 switches to channel 1 even though it should change to channel 4 from channel 3.
So basically I want to get the lead channel and instead of that I get the clean tone.
I tried to recreate that error many times by jumping back and forth between presets, without success. It only happens very rarely, but it happens and it should not.
Do some of you experiecned this kind of issues with switching MIDI cotroller. Be it ES-8 on any other?
