Hi guys,
I have the midi switching problem with my VH4
I wasn´t useing it with midifootcontroller for about 10 months, when I sold my first one (Voodoo Lab Ground Control..the old version), that time everything was ok, because I was playing my VH4 only at home for last 10 months, so I didn´t need any foot controller, I was switching channels only directly on the head.
But about two months ago, I bought new modifootcontroller, custom made here in Czech Republic, and when I plugged it into VH4, it doesn´t work, so I thought, it was a mistake of the midifootcontroller, so I contacted the guy who made it, to solve my problem, he cames to my place and look at it, but he told me, that he don´t know, why it doesn´t works, because he used common normed midi software in it, but he told me, if it is the problem of controller, he will take it back but I have to try my VH4 with another midicontroller, because of, if the reason could be in the head and not in the controller, so today I took my head to store and tryed it with new midifootcontroller Voodoo Lab Ground Control Pro and I sadly discovered, that it doesn´t works with my VH4 too , so I think, something happened with my head, but I don´t know what ..
Switching channels directly on head, mute control and loop buttons and channel insert buttons works ok, and if the controller is plugged into midi in input and another my midi device like Line 6 Echo PRo is connected thru head from midi thru input, the Echo Pro works with Midi pedal with no problem, so midi messages goes thru head with no problem, and also the head provides phatntom power for midi Pedal, but only my VH4 doesn´t works with midifootcontroller, it doesn´t react on midi massages , does happened something same to anyone of you guys? Or some other advises?
I´m trying at first to ask you here before writeing to Peter himsef, cause he is bussy man, so I wanna to try solve problem at first here on forum..
