Which Speakers or cabs have you used that seem to compliment the VH4's Voicing the best?

I had a VHT Front Loaded P50 cab that worked really well but it was a bit too HI-FI sounding overall.
Not a bad match at all..

Ive tried Rear Loaded V30 cabs and Greenback Cabs and Honestly I think the Greenbacks fit the voicing better for some reason..The mids are alot smoother and easier to dial in so you dont get that annoying speaker Honk that he 30s can give you..

Another Conclusion I've came to is that I believe the VH4 sounds best with a Front loaded Cab. The Highs just sound right and the Attack is perfect..
I'd like to hear what others have found! Joel

tried every cab known to man with my vh-4 the diezel front loaded v30 4x12 sounds the best to me
though the engl 4x12 is very good just sounds a little different marshall greenback cab good just not as tight sounding also peavey triple xxx sounds ok and mesa boogie ok
old jcm 800 gt75 cab with 1x12 sounds great for recording
looking forward to trying peter stapflers celestion rk100 recommendations

I'm currently using a mid 70's Marshall bottom cab. The low mids are a bit harsh unless I scoop them out on the amp, but it's all good.

+1 sounds damn good with my Diezel 412F as well, tight punchy and very present. Nice cab. I'd like to try the new cab with the G12K-100 next.

When I had my blue BMW-leather stack (frontloaded) the cab came with Eminence speakers. Those were a bit too dark for me and I replaced that with the Überschall-configuration: V30s/G75Ts in x-pattern.

Killer sound !

I've the 412 Custom Audio Amp. with Celestion Greenbacks and it's the perfect mix between a 412 with V30 and a 412 slanted with Greenbacks. It is more balanced, the hi are less aggressive than V30, the mids more balanced and smooth and basses are like V30 due to the excellent cab. Overall there is a more rock'n'roll "texture"... You know what I mean ?
I love it.

In two week I will test my VH-4 in many different cab (Bogner, CAA and Soldano) if I've time, I will make some short samples.

I had a 2 VHT 1x12 cabs loaded with Eminence P50s for several years and heard them through different setups.
Excellent cabs and speaker and compliment the amp's voicing gr8.
But I believe VH4 records better with the front loaded Diezel cab (with the V30s).
Those pronounced mids and highs of the V30 make the head cut through the mix plus the construction of the Diezel cab can handle the bass frequencies well .

I've a VHT 1*12 Fat Bottom to (but with V30) and it's the best 1*12 I've ever eared ! A very good cab into a very small size !

Indeed, you can also install a P50 or P75 (order them directly from VHT).
The P75 is on the Super 30 combo, it's like a P50 on steroids and can handle the bass well.

Wow great info guys..
I've come to the conclusion that I need a Front loaded cab for the VH4. I got rid of my VHT fatbottom a while back so maybe its time to give the Diezel Front loaded a Shot.

don,t hesitate diezel front loaded 4x12 best move i ever made and worth every penny

I don't recommend a rear-loaded G12T-75 and V30 mix. I tried that with poor results. I'm using a rear-loaded V30 cab and I'm happy with it. From what the others have said though a front-loaded V30 cab may be best. Good luck!

I use an Orange 2x12 with V30's with my Einstein and I sing the praises to everyone that will listen. Better than my Marshall cab without a doubt, and with two less speakers to boot. I love this thing.
