VH4 RE-BIASING Question

So I'm about to re-bias my VH4. I'm a noob at this, but that's okay - I have a lot of electronics background and all the necessary gear to do it.
I've looked at the Tech Corner - no problem. The question I have is this - when re-biasing this beautiful amp, the power's obviously on, and the Standby switch will be in "RUN" mode - correct? If so, is it not harmful to the amp to run the head ON and in RUN mode without a load (as in a cabinet)??

Gotta have a load on the head...Plug your cab up just as if you were going to play the amp...Roll your volumes all the way down and bias the amp up per the instructions in the tech corner....
