VH4-S+midi pedal controleur+rocktron patchmate loop 8

Hi everyone,

I'm an happy user of a VH4-S but i don't have a midi controller yet. I'm looking for one but i would like to have à midi looper like the rocktron patchmate loop 8. This is the reason of my post.

Does anyone know if i can control the vh4-s fonctions and the patchmate loop 8 together with the same midi pedal controler?

Does the Colombus can do this?

I had an original rocktron patchmate (which has since died and wow using G-Lab midi loops) and used it with my vh4 and a rocktron all access, I had it set up for buttons 1-5 for channels 1-4 and 5 for tuner/mute and buttons 6-15 as instant access buttons. You can also program in 150 songs, with 10 combinations of up to 50 song setlists, you can have either 5, 10 or 15 changes per song (with any combination of effect on or off and with any channel) but you are limited to only 128 different changes as it is MIDI.

Matt Bellamy from Muse used a Rocktron All Access with his Diezel setup for 5 years and he uses loads of effects so 128 program changes should be enough for most guitarists!!

It works extremely well with the vh4, not sure if the columbus will do what you want as you cannot have instant access buttons on it, only the 128 midi programs (with only 10 available at one time) so is not as flexible.......no offence Mr Diezel
