VH4 sounding shrill...tubes?

sup bros..... my VH4 is sounding shrill in channel 3 and 4 and I turn the gain up. Channel 1 and 2 sounds very good....... I'm running a quartet of Fender 6L6 tubes (I like 6L6)

and honestly I don't remember what's in the preamp section...... I don't see any rare glow on any of the tubes, but one of them could be on the way out.

what do you recommend?

c'mon bud, i'm smarter that that. I know how to dial Diezel amps.

It's so shrill that my setting are:

Channel 3
gain 12:00
Treble: 10:00
Bass: 11:00
Mids 12:00
Presence 12:00
Deep: 12:00

and it still sounds ice picky and shrill
