Hi,

I gotta record some stuff tonight and tomorrow and my signal splitter got crushed.

is the "Thru" out in my VH4's front suited to take a dry signal as well?
meaning:
I mic the cab and send the Thru to a DI in order to record both signals.

thanks guys, loving my Diezel

Yes, it can be done. Though crappy DI could propably affect your tone a little (as the manual says, some stuff tend to suck your tone when connected to 'thru') but I don't think you'll have to be concerned about it.

Try it and tell us the results?

thru is an instrument level signal, so you can do whatever you would with your guitar signal. The only downside is a possible hum or other noise, which may pretty much ruin it for you.
