Hi, just noticed this noise from my VH4. I don't think it was there before (?) not noticeable when playing, but quite noticeable when guitar volume is rolled off to 0. More noticeable when gain is turned up especially channel 3/4.

Is this normal or something wrong? I have tried swapping in a new preamp tube into each position (besides V7 - hard to reach without taking chassis out or grille off) and no difference. If I pull out input cable there is no noise.

You can hear it when I'm not playing:

Amp running with guitar plugged in 0 volume:

edit:
I just tried turning it on again and it sounds fine no ticking just normal hiss. I didn't change anything and tried turning it on and off a few times before to change all the tubes etc. weird... wonder what is causing the problem

Leo is right, it could be your guitar pickups picking up wireless frequencies. I've noticed this if I'm playing near my wireless router and my guitar is facing a certain way.
