I have a Genz Benz 2x12 cab. It has 3 jacks. One is 16 Ohm mono. Then it has 2 stereo jacks that are 8 Ohms each. And to confuse things, those stereo jacks can also be used as mono 4 Ohms.

So which VH4S speaker output do I use for stereo conenctions? 2x8 or 1x4?

thanks,

Brian,

your cab has two speakers - those must be (each of them) 8 Ohm (stereo mode). In mono you have them either wired in series (16 Ohm mono) or parallel (4 Ohm). Use the "stereo" outs, both of them.
So if you are using both jacks from the cab, the amp wants to "see" 8 Ohm for each speaker.
Since your model is a VH4S you have practically 2 amps (left, right), so the two cables from your cab are going into the 2x16/1x8 of each amp/side.

ok?
