I was really trying the SM7B for vocals in this test, which I think rules & I'm gonna sell my LDC so I can keep my Horizon FRII, but I thought you guys would appreciate the VH4 CH1 & CH3 content in it. A single SM57s used for guitars.

O, yeah, it was the ceramic warpig.

Absolutely WICKED!!!!

nbarts... You NEVER cease to amaze me in the "quality" department. Nicely done

I have been meandering to and from my mailbox awaiting the "parcel slip" for my BKP order... RR's for my Hamer, PK's for the NT-II. And hey, speaking of "keeping your FR-II", I find it amazing, I have a number of high quality ax's, namely LPs and LPCs. Today I went around tuning all of them up...7 guitars in total. Before I started in on my FR-II, I gave the whammy a huge dive-to-slack then pull-back-to-high just to reset the strings. Upon tuning it?? Dead center, and I haven't tuned this ax for about 2 weeks... Amazing guitars those ESPs.

Peace,
V.

Awesome clips as usual! I'm really digging the VH4/cpig combo. If only I played that kind of metal. ;)

Thanks guys, I like the combo too, sounds unreal in person!

...and yes, Horizons are my favorite axes, there is no doubt about that.

That Horizon sounds awesome! which do you prefer the nailbombs or the war pigs.

war pigs sound meatier on my pc speakers

do you have your approx eq for channel Ch3 settings?

gain, volume - 11

high, bass, deep, presence - a notch above noon

mids - around 2:30

master was somewhere from 11-1 & the whole thing was tamed in the serial loop with my MXR EQ set to neutral.

I like the cbombs with the Herbert & Einstein. Can't stand their sound with the VH4 so far.
