Is this using send 1 or send 2?
Wow, nailed that vector! Impressive batting average you got there. :)

Good news :D

Remember that to use send 2 you have to press the button labelled send 2 on the front of the amp :D

Did you turn up the parallel loop pot on the front panel? Checked the cables?
If yes, then something might be broken.

Yes, I play this amp for a long time. checked everything that (I think) could be wrong.
Personally I think there is a fault somewere in the send circuit (v5/v6/v7)????? but on the other hand: why works send 1 instead of send 2

I might be wrong, but I think send 1 does not make much sense as parallel loop because it cannot be adjusted level-wise.

I had the main serial fx return jack my VH4, sucking major tone.
The amp would get very thin sounding at times even completely cutting out once in a blue moon.
I’d turn it off then on and usually it would go back to sounding great. If that didn’t work, I’d leave it for a day and the next time I powered on it was like nothing happened.
I replaced all the tubes twice ,, then finally, took it to a tech, who diagnosed that it was the serial jack, which I had never, ever used.
My amp is 18 years old , it’s humid here in the summer, corrosion sucks.
And now I always run the AC to keep humidity down.

Other than that it’s been bulletproof for those 18 years.
