VHT GP-3, pros and cons. comparisons to anything?

Okay, so right now, I have a lot of sweet preamps.

However, I want more.


I think I have a good lead on a VHT GP-3.

why should I buy or not buy it?

Get a Triaxis instead because I know you miss one, Gene. :D

BTW, I was thinking about doing new Triaxis vids this weekend about different sounds; cleans, mildly overdriven sounds, heavily overdriven rhy sounds etc. Anything specific anybody wants to hear?

When I had my GP3, I liked the cleans and really enjoyed the clarity of the high gain tones

Also, a Mesa Studio Pre arrived on Friday, can't wait to tinker with it next week when I get my music room in my new place a little bit more under control. You really like that preamp, right Gene?

I've never tried a Studio, but the Quad was the bomb. great rhythm and lead tones.

It does heavy riffing really well too.
