Hi guys, wonder what's the general PV for our ultra lead? I gotten an ultra lead which I checked mine with a quartered EH KT88 I only yield PV to be at 405VDC.. My cathode current are as follows 51mA,44mA,44mA,47mA....

I have read over the forum page that the ultra lead will have 450PV at 65% tube dissipation... But from what the figures I got I only biased mine at 50% tube dissipation .... I spanned out the trim pot and found my ultra lead can only get 415PV ......

Is there anything wrong with this amp I got ?

The ones I had were right at about 445 or 450 depending on the KT88s I was using. Call them up and see.

Good luck calling them   They don't answer phones anymore and rarely answer emails unless it is for the Power Station.

Check your mains voltage, it might be a bit low? The actual plate voltage you get correlates to your mains voltage.

thanks i have read about that... i am running a 117VAC ultra lead..my country is 240VAC british mains... i checked my step down tranny to be 110VAC before feeding into the amp.... may i know whats the amercian main voltage regulated at measuring off from your wall socket outlet ?
