How do i connect my VHX to the Xsonic Airstep?

I got it to work using the steps below but I have to have my laptop to make it work is there a way to pair vhx and airstep via bluetooth without a laptop?
Bluetooth pair AIRSTEP and VHX with your device.
Go to the Microsoft App Store and search “ MIDIberry” and download it. After installation, enter the MIDIberry application, Select AIRSTEP as INPUT (Bluetooth MIDI IN), select VHX PORT as OUTPUT. Keep MIDIberry on during use.

Is there any chance of a software editor app in the future for the VHX? This may have been requested already but I hope there is.

Currently not but it's in the work, it require either Airstep or VHX to act as a master as now are both devices, a new update will make it possible.
Also there will be an editor app very soon!

I recently got myself a singular sound midi maestro to act as a midicontroller. Since it can send midi ble messages and the VHX is capable of receiving them i figured it must be possible to control the VHX wireless via bluetooth. How do i make a connection between VHX and the maestro though? Thank you for any help!

Totally freaking out about this. SO AWESOME!!
I have to re-do our setlists, and I'm dreading having to move Presets around with the knob,
and take pictures of settings of the songs I have to move to Sets 1-3 (Bank 1), from the whole other Bank 2 that I have for Sets 4-6
Each Bank is 99 Presets. It will very easy to migrate these back and forth with the editor.

Mind that Leos Post is over one year old. As far as i know we dont have a current status regarding the editor App. Maybe Leo could provide updates to that

Hey there, did you ever get a Bluetooth controller to pair with your VHX without a computer in the mix? I have a VHX as well, and I'm currently on the hunt for a good simple controller with a few switches I can pop on my pedalboard and take with me to jam sessions.

The VHX doesn't come with one, but it is compatible with bluetooth midi controllers...

However, it seems like some folks are having challenges connecting controllers like the Airstep. What I can't figure out is what to look for in terms of features to ensure compatibility. There are a huge number of controller options out there, and a lot of them look like e-waste waiting to happen. My trusty VHX deserves better!

I bought a Paint Audio MIDI Captain, and it works, but requires a lot more work than I'm willing to put in to have it function the way I want (I am MIDI deficient in skill). I don't play anywhere but home so walking over and changing presets/settings isn't bothersome since I only use a few at most.

No. Still need a pc with the airstep controller at this time. I believe a future VHX update will resolve the issue.
until then..
I got an airstep light to go with airstep.
I hook the airstep into vhx with midi.
Then airstep light controls it all wireless.
I also have the CME Widi jack. It works great with airstep and VHX.
AIRSTEP app makes setting midi up a breeze. Point and click.
If we ever get a Diezel VHX app That connects with bluetooth......it would be amazing.
