Decided it was time to get back into vintage audio. Both the my monitors and
Amp are from 1978.
The cabs were scratched and dried out. Howard’s restore-a-finish wrks literal magic on old speakers
I replace the caps in the the crossovers with 6uf and 24uf Solennfilm caps. The old electrolytics were way out of spec. The sonic difference was amazing.
Then to top it off, these came with 3 grill cloth choices. I opted for the OEM burnt orange like what’s on the original brochure. Nothing brings out the late 70’s ugly.. I mean glory like the original orange
