I got one. It's nice, but I've heard of many failures with the unit on HRI. I'm not in a band anymore so I don't really worry about it. It's a great, cheap way to power your pedals.

I am not sure if what I have is the combo pack or not but I do have a one spot. I have not had any problems with it and I have had it for two years. I have only powered up too five pedals at one time with it though.

thanx guys. after my battery and loop fiasco today, I needed something. I asked him about noise issues and he said it was quiet, so I ordered one. Have you guys experienced any noise with your pedals?

excellent. i'd like to lay some pipe to your avatar dude.

I've had a one spot + 5 plug extension for a few years now and never had any problems with it. They're cheap enough that I just bought a backup one spot and an additional 5 plug adaptor/extension but have never needed to open the other one. I've taken it out and used it a few times to make sure it works too but the backup hasn't been necessary yet. I only use up to 5 pedals, all out front and have never had any noise issues with that setup. I think it will suit you just fine.

I don't know. I prefer to toss chainsaws at them.

I have a few poweralls, one has gone out on me.

A couple of things to keep in mind:

1. Unplug or power off the power strip when the one-spot is not in use. (My powerall was on for 2 weeks at my practice space, I think that is what got it)
2. Good idea like with any power supply to get a backup, at $20 I would if you are gigging.
3. If you have noise, you might want to considering using a separate supply for your pedals in front of your amp and one for those in the loop.

I find the powerall very quiet, I think you will like your one-spot.

    I have done this myself.

I never had problems with mine. A freind of mine said it made to much noise with his mxr phase 90 and gave me his. I have a phase 90 and did not have a problem.
