volume cutting in and out on diesel vh4

I'm assuming this is a power tube issue but I thought id check with the gurus first! The vh4 even in clean volumes the volume cuts in and out, never totally off but very low volume, then cuts back in suddenly and cuts out again. this is after amp has been on and in standby for 10 mins or more.

I checked the guitar cable and and used a few others and they worked well with other amps.

I’ve had the serial loop do this (it wasn’t in use) That one took a while to track down.
Also tubes remove them all and lube/ tighten the clamps.

Please spray the serial return jack with a cleaner spray.
Then plug a few times in and out to get contact inside the jack.

Thanks for the tips! I got some contact cleaner and do what papa Diezel recommended, hopefully that does the trick! So far so good!
