a plug and congrats to Trace and Voodoo Amps! :thumbsup: :thumbsup:


i've been checking out Voodoo lately since he got the 59Plexi sounding so good, and noticed that Def Leppard is using Voodoo's on thier soon to be realeased album! :rock:
 
I heard about this from Trace about 6-8 months ago. I think they were designing a preamp for Vivian.
 
May I ask what Trace did to your 1959? Regular or Deluxe Jose Mod? I am seriously thinking about Trace modding my 1959 as well. Would love to hear what kind of pre & power tubes you are currently using. Thanks for your time.

sorry for the confusion, it's not my 59 i'm refering to. somebody (Plexiface?) on here had a 59RI that Trace did a Jose mod to, not sure which mod. he posted a bunch of clips, and it the amp sounds awesome.

i'll try and find out for sure who had it and post again.

do some searching for his clips, or hit him up for questions.

Vivian had 7 (yea I heard 7) voodoo modded JMP1s. Isn't the new Voodoo preamp is going to be the viv sig model?

Trace has always been such a stand up / helpful guy. I wish him all the success in the world and its great to see his business taking off like this.

Congrats to Trace with Viv! We just loaded Phils rack with our M4...great combination..Voodoo and Egnater!
 
We've been working with then for about 3 years or more now and initially Modified 7-8 Marshall JMP-1 preamps for Vivian Campbell. They also used the V-Plex 50 on their new record that should be out shortly. They are great guys to work with and great players!

I heard that about Def Leppard and a VPlex is probably going to be my next amplifier. I just hope prices don't go through the roof because of that supply/demand thing. (although it'd be good for trace)


Right now I've got 2 voodoo cabs and a modded ADA MP-1 and I'm telling you what, that build quality and sound is incredible. I highly recommend them.

We plan to keep our prices as low as we can for as long as we can. As you may or may not know, we have recently lowered our prices.
