Voodoo Lab ground control pro w/ TC Electronic G-Major1

Hello, just bought a second hand Voodoo lab ground control pro and it is connected to my eleven rack and G-Major 1. The foot controller is set on 4 presets. I have channel 1 for the 11rack that works perfect and channel 2 for the G-Major. Midi cable out to midi in on the 11R and 11R out to the GM1 in. GM1 is not responding. I want to use 1 of the 8 fx-switches from the Voodoo Lab to control the GM1. Watched te manual as well as some of the youtube vids. Can also not register on de Voodoo lab website forum. Help me out pls.

Check the MIDI settings on the 11R. I think you have to enable MIDI thru so that it echos MIDI commands to the out/thru port.

If you plug the foot controller directly into the MIDI in on the GM1, do the preset changes work?

Do you need the GM1 to change presets separately from the 11R? I find it easier to use Omni mode with midi rather than have every device on a different channel, unless I really need to send continuous controller commands to specific devices.

Preset changes work. Midi thru is enabled on the 11R. Used also the omni mode. Yes I like to call up some presets from the GM1. Has it something to do with connection in the back?

Your foot controller may not be transmitting on channel 1 and 2. I agree with just setting everything to OMNI for a simple system. You could also try to put the GM on channel 1 also, and see if they both work.

Finally after hours fooling around got it figured out. The GC pro 11R on channel 01 and GM1 on channel 02. The 11R channel 1 and midi thru, GM1 also channel 1. So if I hit switch #1 on the foot controller, 11R and GM1 preset #1 is on, switch #2 = #2 and so on. So I only have to hit switch #5 = Loop, the extra fx on the GM1 goes on or off.
