I have a Pedal Power 2 Plus and a much cheaper Pedal Power X4. I’m only running an overdrive and a delay at the moment. It’s strikingly obvious that the cheaper, less feature laden X4 sounds much better.
The 2 Plus is muddy and all blurry mids. The X4 sounds much cleaner, balanced EQ, and hi fi. Both plugged into same power regulator.
What is going on here? It’s like night and day. Wondering if my 2 Plus is defective.
