wait time for a herbert???

i just ordered a herbert the other day and Uwe told my dealer that it won't be ready untill mid november. they ran out of knobs for it or something like that. is that true Peter? i'm already on my second vh4 and i can't wait to get the herbert!!! is there any way to speed up the shipping process or do i have to suffer.

I've been having issues with waiting for my Herbert as well and Im very frustrated. I ordered a Herbert at the end of March and the dealer told me that it would be 2-3 months (maybe even sooner because he orders a couple of them on a consistent basis).

Well, its been 6 months now and still no Herbert. The delay doesnt bother me because I understand the demand for the amp. My real problem is that ever since June, both my dealer and Uwe would tell me it would be here in two weeks. So since then, everytime i check in after two weeks, I just get told it will be another two weeks. They've been doing this to me for 3 months now and I don't enjoy being lied to for that long. The dealer told me he called them and demanded to know when it will come in and guess what? Another "it should be here in 2-3 more weeks." LOL Im just wondering how much longer they will do this to me. I dont know whose fault this is; all i can say is I am very disappointed. If it wont be ready until 2008 or 2009 or however much longer it will be, they should just tell me.

Patience, you all know they're hand made, though mikeinsane82, I disagree with that, I was told straight up roughly how long it'd take and that was it though I was lucky.

It may be just the dealer not wanting to loose your money on the deal man...

Fact is, they're handmade by very few people and Diezel amps are in high demand...don't get discouraged man, just wait cos it'll be all worth it.

I am told there is a HUGE shipment going to Salwender next week, I alone am getting a VH4S and 2 Herbies and a NYC cab.... Peter, THANKS, I needed product BAD! Nice bump there! I am stoked about the VH4S, I can't wait to see what it can do!

No, I won't.....but, given my track record I can see why you can see otherwhise
