Sweet!
I've been thinking about a 2 'bucker tele for some time now, and those Filtertrons might just be the ticket! They fit really well with that blue, figured maple top!
Generally, I'm not that fond of "furniture" grade tops on guitars, but damn!
Thanks for sharing!

T-style guitars with Filtertrons can sound great. But PLEASE put a Bigsby on it!!!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WFPJLEw8Pck (gorehound of the deadcats playing a Sparrow with TV Jones filtertron) for a cool tele-filtertron rockabilly tone - and one that's surprisingly warm for a notoriously bright pickup on a notoriously bright guitar shape.
After having 3 different guitars w/ Bigsby's...I'm done w/ them. This is like one of 3 electric guitars out of the 10 electrics I own that I have that are fixed bridge. The other 7 are 6 wilkinson bridge guitars and 1 floyd.
Plus I do a lot of bending, that causes the tune to go out of whack... So...sorry man! No bigsby here
It wasn't until I had local guru Paul Iverson set up my Gretsch that I got very good tuning stability. Having the nut cut well for the guage of strings (I think this was the main improvement), using very few winds (or using locking tuners . . ), and putting a bit of graphite powder on the nut when I change strings seem to do the trick for me. Severe bending (I do a lot of double stop bends, etc., with 11s) is no problem at all, and I need to do some extreme downward bends for it to go out of tune at all - last time I measured it with a tuner, if I go all the way down to where the handle touches the body of the guitar (pickguard removed) and release, the G and B, which are the worst culprits, are less than 5cents sharp, and either pulling up on the Bigsby or bending the strings puts them right back on 'green'. Using the Bigsby for 'vibrato' effect doesn't affect the tuning at all. So, although YMMV and every guitar and player is different, with proper set-up I don't find Bigsbys to be an inherent barrier to tuning stability. My Gretsch generally has better tuning stability than my LPs, though not sure why the LP can't stay in tune . . .
