Can someone please tell me why, if I filled out and mailed in the warranty card, I have to provide a dated proof of purchase such as a sales slip or invoice to get warranty covered service? Specially since this is not the first time this amp has been back to them for a warranty repair.

Doesn't Eganter have my name and the serial #s for both of the Eganter amps I own on record from the returned warranty cards? If not then what was the purpose of those cards to begin with? Wouldn't these show that I am the original owner? As for the date of purchase, the cancelled postage would be really close.

Just curious. This is the first time after registering a product either via snail mail or on line I have had to do this.
