Was Greg Ginn nuclear powered?

I was catching up with some Black Flag and Greg Ginn has maybe the most incendiary guitar tone I've ever heard. I'm a tube guy but he makes me want to get a solid state power amp and run a distortion pedal into it from a Dan Armstrong. Unbelievable rawness and power. God I love it!

Greg Ginn is under rated as guitarist.
Some of his stuff was insane. His live tone was better than what made it onto tape. I think I lost some of my hearing watching him play.

I remember seeing them live waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back when. I was 14-15. Crazy loud.
