So this has been in the works for a hot second. Met the singer after one of my KISS Tributes gigs. He asked if I knew anyone that would be a good Angus. Immediately thought of my boy Keith. Anyway, turns out they needed a Malcolm as well. The drummer owns a shit ton of Marshall's as well as like 4 Malcolm Gretsch models to boot. Keith has been Ace in a few KISS tributes. He's never done Angus before.

We played and recorded a few takes of each song live and I put this vid together. Everything was mic'd and all for the recording. We recorded at a studio owned by the guy from Counting Cars. Funny, we had like 4 cameras set up and 3 pooped out. My son had one handheld. That's the only footage that looked decent! LOL

Very cool, dude!
Looks like a lot of fun and you guys sound great!👍

Vocals are the key here
The tone kills as well.
So Danny owns the studio huh?
I know he has a band but no clue if they still played out.

Anywhere,
WELL DONE !

Cheers all! It’s a hell of a lot of fun. Set list is solid and the guys are all super chill. Nice happenstance that this worked out.

Hope to get stuff booked provided the world doesn’t shut down again.

yeah man Joe does a solid job on the vocals for sure.

The studio is called Desert Moon. It’s in the same strip of buildings as Count’s Kustoms. Danny still has Count’s 77 which is his band. The guitarist, Stoney Curtis is the main engineer at the studio.

Damn, I wanna live your life for a week Jer ! ( I promise I won't touch your wife/GF... I think? try not to. You can come live here and jam on my crappy half finished E kit and teach my toddlers not to shit on the floor)

Band sounds great, the look is there, and no pressure because "Angus" always draws most of the attention. Dug the singer and the cut off lol. So good.

I’m not gonna lie… my wife’s pretty hot! Keep your mitts to yourself! Lol!

yeah I’m glad to NOT be angus! Hang back, move my leg in rhythm and just play. It’s nice!

Thats awesome man! I'd love to be a Malcolm! There are so many killer songs which are so much fun to play rhythm on. Many of them aren't the most well known.

Riff Raff - ridiculously fun!
Walk All Over You
If You Want Blood
Hell Ain't a Bad Place to Be
Shot Down in Flames
Problem Child

Jesus, the list could go on forever.

I swear, if I knew someone who could sing Bon Scott, we'd be doing an AC/DC tribute too.

Sounds absolutely fantastic! I can sense the energy from the video. Looks like SO much fun!!

Yes, you literally move your legs 4 times an hour. The rest is keeping the beat and banging your head. Dream job! Being Angus is like a workout. You almost need to do a few months of Sean T's beach body to get your ass ready.

Always in, always fun…3 chords and a cloud of dust. Gotta love the AC/DC.
Great job, great gig! Enjoy!
