All I can offer you is a studio session recorded several years ago wherein I played all the guitar chords, all intro and last leads but for the one done by the lead singer in the middle of the song.
It was then filmed by the singer's video people, as he is an author who now has a TV series on called "Dexter". They then "tried" to sinc the video to the studio recording. He is no longer with the band as he is way too important now to speak with any of us.
I used the Einstein compensated out directly into the recording desk. Just as a side note, the engineer brought out a Neumann U-87 mic and compared it to the Diezel compensated out. The result was that there was no difference in the tone! I opted to use the Diezel comp out of course.
