Anyone do a side by side with the Standard v30s compared to WGS Vet30/ET65 mix in a Bogner cab?

I used to use that mix and sometimes miss it but at home at low volumes the V30s sound just as good and thing my tone is thicker, more 3D and cutting with the V30s.

I might actually be picking up another Bogner 212 and this time with Splawn Small Blocks since I am getting a Splawn.

Ampaddict uses a Mesa 412 with v30/G12-65 mix and I believe he has a v30 cab as well. I'd ask him how they compare. Not quite the same as the WGS equivalents though...

Thanks, I am going v30/G12-65. The v30/T75 is too lacking in thick mids.

That's what I said, no?

I am not playing guitar right now. I am taking a year or so off to concentrate in other things.
