It’s seems like every store you look at for certain marshall amps and cabs they are sold out and have been that way for a while. And if you ask the store they can’t give you a time of when they will be getting stock.
To add to the delays, the ports are on strike and I just read the trains are too.Marshall changed its US distributor. Prices plunged. Orders skyrocketed. Those orders have not hit US shores yet.
Buying used has always been the way to go JMHO.To add to the delays, the ports are on strike and I just read the trains are too.
good time to sell a used Marshall at inflated prices?Buying used has always been the way to go JMHO.
Actually not right now. Almost all used listings I’ve seen for recent Marshall amps are at the same or higher than what they dropped to as new.Buying used has always been the way to go JMHO.
Craigslist is nuts but not on the same level nuts as Reverb. CL sellers will generally drop the price after a month or so, reverb is still clinging onto height of pandemic free money pricing. It's comical almost because you offer fair pricing and the seller will turn it down only to get less money on the same item 3-6 months later, lolActually not right now. These were amps bought and listed before the price drop.
I got lucky . I just picked a used one up from gc for $800 in almost like mint conditionCabs are too heavy to ship without damage so it's local only for me. I'm close to Nashville and haven't seen a 1960AX pop up lately.
