What can you tell me about RFT 12at7/ecc81's?

I got the 12ax7's I ordered and REAALLY like them in v1 of all 3 of my amps.

Any insight on the at7's?

They are cool if you want to drop the gain for certain gainstages - or to drive the PI a bit less in certain amps to get more headroom. Try them, you will like them.
As the ECC83s of RFT those ECC81 are "warmer" sounding than typical ECC81/12AT7s or a 5751.
