Hi guys.
I have a MOD 50 with SL and EG3/4 modules, and I have recently bought a TOL50 combo for smaller gigs.
The thing is, I want the SL to do the same on the B-channel as the boost does on the TOL50 clean channel.
That boost cuts just the right amount of lows and adds just the right amount of mids, tone-wise, but on my SL, it sounds like the B-channel ADDS lows and slightly scoops the mids...this means, that when I dial in my B-channel, the A-channel has almost no lows and a lot of mids.
I have seen people referring to the TOL as "vox" and "fender" voicing (I use the "vox" one), but can any of you tell me, if I can get close to the TOL50´s clean by swapping my SL with a VX?
I should mention, that I don´t really care for the sound, when the voicing switch is in the "fender" position-too much like the IE4 I owned, so I guess the fendery modules are out...
Any help?
Thank you,
Kristian.
