What delay is everyone using in their Egnater loop?

I have a TC Nova Delay that's pretty cool, but I'm just wondering what else is being used with great results...

I'm using a Boss DD20 as well... after Casey's reccomendation.

Set to 100% wet, it works absolutely perfectly.

Are there better delays out there? Perhaps. But with the versatility of the DD20, the tap tempo, the analog simulations, and the fact that the paralell loop keeps my tone pure...

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

i couldn't use the nova in my mod50 loop.. i clipped it.. got a dd-20 and have been happy ever since.

Yea, I'm noticing the same thing. When I calibrated it all the LEDs went out as soon as I hit the strings. To get it somewhat usable, I have to turn the masters way down on the modules. It's kind of why I'm searching.

I may have to check out the dd-20, it seems like lots of you guys are having success with it.

+1. I tried a Nova and it clipped. Then, I got an Eventide Timefactor and its easily the best non-rack delay Ive ever heard. DD-20 is great for the price though.

How does the Timefactor work with your rig? I considered buying one a while back, but went with the Nova instead. I don't know why. :aww:

It works great. I run it 100% wet kill dry in the parallel loop and handle the mix with the knob on the amp. Its a really pristine sounding pedal and its real transparent. No notcable tone suckage or loss of punch. Built really really well too.

I use it bare bones with just 4 presets. Two delays: one suble, one obnoxious for leads. A chorus patch and a multi-tap delay patch to simulate reverb. The thing can do WAY more than I use it for. You can hook up expression pedals and of course it does tap tempo.

Just an awesome pedal.
