These clips of mine are pretty accurate of what it sounds like. I thought of it as Uberschall meets Ultra Lead.

Thanks man. These clips are basically what it sounds like though. It recorded more accurate than any amp I've had. A lot of times with clips, it sounds good, but not as good as in the room. Perhaps you'd be interested in my Mako Custom 100. It sounds alot like JBs clips but with a slightly more low mid emphasis. Its two channels, 6L6 based.

Brent (Gutierrez) has one, and he has several really nice amps, when he records the Dorado is his GO-TO amp, he told me that it's the best sounding to record with as well as playing live. And this is up against, the Uber, Makoplex, Langner DCP-1, Mojo 100 watt, XXX, and Randall.
FWIW his recordings always sound great.

it sounds like the type of amp whose company doesn't do endorsement deals.
Sorry, but if I was a touring musician, I would go with a company that sounded good AND gave me free / discounted gear.

Thats what I thought too..... But I think Peter (Ihave27frets) has an endorsement with them, although I may be wrong.

Dorado gives me a little GAS and I don't even play metal. I loved the lowgain clips on the Mako website though. Yummy.
