What if I put a boost in front of my Erect module?

Anyone tried this? Put a clean or almost clean boost in front of an Erect module? What kind of tone / gain did you achieve? What boost pedal(s) did you try?
 
Boosts work great in front of all of the gain modules. Tightens them up and adds some special sauce. Depending on what I am going for, I use a MXR Micro Amp, Cool Cat TOD or Drive, and a Barber Tone Press. All set to standard boost settings of level up and gain down.

Absolutely! This one of my favorite tones from my modules.

I like the Aldrich rocket fuel with level knob at noon to 3:00, gain=0. Gain on the module is at noon or so. Sounds HEAVY.. kind of like Disturbed's song "Stricken" only a fair bit better. Handles down-tuning like a champ.

Xotic BB works pretty good mojo in there too, but I definately prefer the rocket fuel. Cusack screamer works well too.
