What do you think an Einstein is going for these days, I may have one for sale.

I saw a used one at a GC near Dallas for 2300 something about a month and a half ago.

$1,800 if you really want someone to buy it. That's what I could have bought a mint 100W version for not long ago. You may get $2k if you are lucky. It's really a matter of timing. Everything is depressed these days. VH4s and Herberts are going for as low as $2,800.

I hear you, I'm just entertaining it now. I might just pick up a fender deluxe reverb and keep the Eini, I really want a cleaner sound with some reverb. I was leaning towards a Landry.

Not in mint condition with all the latest tweaks.

Show me...

there is one on ebay right now @ 1499....looks to be no reserve. would be a nice steal at that price.

My Einstein about a month ago went for $2200. I put it up as a buy it now, and in literally twenty minutes someone had bought it.

Sad to see it go, but the combo just wasn't doing it for me. One day I'll get a Herbert....

You deserve a Fender Vibro~King - make sure you try one before buying anything for cleans.

2 things:

Have you tried other cabinets, speakers with your Einstein?
Have you tried quality space FXs with your Einstein?

My Herbert murders with its clean channel & timefactor. I usually run MXE EQ with it to make it a bit brighter, where it sounds very Fenderish. The only thing that sounds better than that is when it's mixed with the VH4 cleans. Open back cabinets, speakers definitely other than v30s - those are the things that turn good cleans into phenomenal cleans.
Try a Herbert!
