What is the protocol for breaking in new egnater or other guitar speakers?

thanks
:)

Play them for quite bit, up a bit louder if you can, takes awhile, but after so many hours, they should settle in nicely. Depending on which speaker, I have noticed quite a change in the sound, for the better, once they are broke in.

+1 Play Them :D

If you've got one of the handmade cabs direct from Egnater, breaking them in isn't absolutely necessary due to their tone bra system. It's a diffuser used to make speakers sound like they're already broken in. If it's the Tourmaster series cab, or any other cab for that matter, I've heard of people putting the cab face down on the floor and cranking the volume (don't dime it though) and just wailing away for a few hours.
