What module would be closest to channel 3 on a CAE 3 +SE

Hi, I was looking for some advise. Could any of you tell me your thoughts on what Egnater module would be closest to a CAE 3 + SE.
I am referring to Channel 3 high gain of the CAE 3+ SE preamp. And also any thoughts on your comparisons sound wise to the M4 with modules of choice.

That's the most correct answer but I want to think Egnater wise, you could get a similar tone from an EG3...maybe with a tweak to make it brighter.

That is a Salvation modded module and the cost is one donor module plus around 200 (not sure if that's in EUR or $USD) + shipping both ways...

I had an Egnater single channel EG3 which sounded a little different than the EG3/4 ... but in principle, close enough..so yes

You should wait for guitarslinger to chime in as he has the modified Randall and EG3/4 side by side to compare...

Also, Going to the single channel is a high price to pay when everything else is dual.

EG 3/4 is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYY too dark.

I agree. I believe EVH used a prototype 3+ during the Carnal Knowledge sessions on "The Dream is Over" and the EG5 can get me close to that sound.

I recall hearing the 3+ was only used on Spanked and the rest was SLO100, but I could be wrong about that.
