what fx you guys use?
by the moment i use the g-major.

thx
klaus

Right now I am using an assortment of BOSS pedals, but would like to get a G major or G Force and run it through midi with the Herbert. Trying to come up with a Columbus first so I have something to control it with.

columbus works great with those.
i'm trying some lexicon stuff - maybe i'll change.
g-major sounds great, but is not really neutral.

Effekte gibt´s ab jetzt nimmer !

;)

i use a Rocktron Xpression, as to my ears it is much more neutral sounding than the g-major! (at least the effects i use)

Rockron Xpression. good point - it doesn't ruin the sound of the amp.

what i don't like of it are some of its effects like the tremolo ...that suck so much...

thats possible - i have to admit that i absoutely never use a tremolo-effect!

ooch, peter

you know i need it to sound like a musician. :D

I am using the TC Nova System and it is completely transparent sounding, with studio quality effects.

If you ever try it, pass me your settings, please :)
maybe you're easy getting a better setting than me.
For example can you set a tremolo like the intro of Sanitarium from Master of puppets?
There's chorus delay and tremolo!

I use a rocktron Prophecy. Its not bad, and im very used to it. Id honestly rather use pedals because to me its seems more transparent...but then again its a pain to have to hook up all my pedals by running most through the front and some through the effects loop. ...cant win. Im also curious about TC electronics stuff.

If the G-major isn't very transparent, how about the G Force?

it is transparent, it just colors the sound a bit.
i couldn't compare it to the g-force.

The G Force is a bit more transparent than the G Major. I have had both and the G Force has a warmer sound to my ears. I use very little effects and the H3000 DS/X is what sounds the best to me with the Diezel, with the G Force a close second. The H3000 has some lag to it when changing presets where the G Force does not. The lag is not an issue to me as I do not use that many effects anyway. Just my .02
