What sounds better?

Just trying to get an idea what you guys think sounds better the CCV or the mod Mark does on Marshalls? I know that it's kind of a vague question, but I figured I'd put it out there and see what happend.
 
I have two Cameron Modded Marshalls which kick ass, but they are not like the CCV. The CCV is definitely the winner. Besides sounding great, the CCV is about 120 watts and can really move some air. The CCV is a great amp for any player.

How are you liking your latest Cameron with the clean channel? Did it give you what you were looking for?
 
I love the new Cameron Plexi. The gain channel is excellent and the clean channel is the best clean I have ever had in an amp. It is way better than a 72 fender twin that I used to have. It has a lot of punch to it.
 
They are different, but both sound incredible. Jose is a bit more old school, CCV is a bit more modern. Depends on what you dig.....IMHO the CCV is the best guitar amp in the world.
 
I emailed Cameron to see if they're still taking orders and am waiting on a reply. I'd like to get my hands on a used CCV-100 if possible. :yes:
 
I'm assuming the more modern tone comes from the MM transformers?

You'll be put on a waiting list. Once your name pops up, you will be asked to put 10% down, then the wait time for the amp is anyone's guess. Mark is building amps though.

I've been on the waiting list for about 3 months just to be able to place my order.

I'm sure it will be worth it in the end! :rock:
 
So you get put on a down payment waiting list? What's this world coming to? :confused:

Nope, you get on a list to put down a payment. Then you wait for your amp to be built. They just didn't want to take a bunch of orders if they can't keep up with production.

I'd just email them and get on the list. What could it hurt?
