Check in Microsoft account settings, manage account/login/password stuff, make sure you have pin and all that extra verification shit disabled, and that Windows Hello is disabled in Brave.

I just realised I didn't respond to the original post in my previous comment, I do apologise.
I use Brave as well but on MacOS, I have never encountered a message like this. So you can't log in to rig talk where it is asking for a USB dongle security key?
I remember they used to be a nightmare for some DAW's back in the day, if you lost one they were pricy to replace too.

I'm guessing that pirated drum machine software we were trying to use was a trojan horse that has allowed someone to hijack your computer. I know this as fact because I'm an actual computer genius and have been playing stupid with you all these years.
