What to power on first Torpedo Liev of amp

Dear all,

Today I received the Torpedo Live I ordered. Before I install it, I read the manual (which I normally not do) and this because of the fear to hurt my amp (Diezel VH4). The first thing to do is to connect the speaker out to the Torpedo amplifier in. My question is related to the next step: what to power on first, the Torpedo Live or the amplifier? Does the Torpedo load also work when the Torpedo is NOT switched on?

There is a secondary security load that would always be there to protect the amp. We would recommend powering on the Torpedo first as a habit.
