What wah pedal would you suggest to go with the Diezel Vh4?

Hey all,

My area 51 crybaby just broke down - so I am looking to purchase another Wah. I use a Diezel VH4, so I am looking for a big sounding wah that can handle a heavy amp like the VH4.

Any suggestions? I was looking at the Crybaby from Hell (Dimebag's wah) - any experience with that?

Thank you!

Cantrell Wah is really great.

Dimebag Wah is great once dialed in!

Dunlop CAE Wah is one of the best sounding on the market.

Those are the one's I have owned and have stuck with the CAE since!

Are you unhappy with your current wah or are you wanting to change the wah for another reason? My point being that fixing a wah pedal is not really difficult.

At the end I have always gone back to Dunlop Cry Babies. In my main rig I use the older rack wah (with VH4 and Mako) and at home 535Q (with Herbert).

+1 for the Dimebag Wah.I would also mention the rackmount Wah.More possibilities but also more expensive

Thanks for the opinions. Unfortunately the music stores around me only have a couple of Crybaby's, so I have to order online...do my research and hope for the best.

I thinking between the CAE and Fulltone Clyde.

Fulltone Clyde Standard (I do not like the Clyde Deluxe that much - it's too noisy compared to the Standard)

and Ernie Ball Wah - if' you'd like to have a really good pedal-control-way for stuck-wah-sounds...

+1 on the dimebag wah, however I'd say unless you want the bells and whistles of the DB-01 try and find a DB-02 - which is the same wah with all the settings wired to dimes in use ones, you can't mess about with it but it's fine in any case.

Plus they go cheap on fleabay :)
