What's the Fishman Fluence Black Nickel finish like?

Is it kinda like Ibanez Cosmo Black? Kinda like the EMG Hetfields?

Can't tell from the pics. On some, it just looks like glossy black. It looks darker than these finishes I mention.

I'm trying to decide wether or not the Devins will fit the aesthetic of a silverburst guitar with chrome hardware.

Can anyone post pics where I can clearly see what the finish is like compared to cosmo or the Hets or plain black or some other reference, please?

Mine looks like this after two years or so.

Is the bridge on your guitar black nickel/cosmo black as well?

Yeah, if there's actual nickel in the finish, it's not surprising that it doesn't hold up as well as chrome.

Nah just regular nickel. That was my #1 guitar for like two years and I played it pretty much every day; if you’re going to stick them in one you don’t play that much it’ll probably hold up longer.

If you need more pics let me know, it’s sitting right here.

Do you have a guitar with cosmo or nickel hardware at hand for comparison? Is it the same shade or is it darker?

Thanks, man.

So this guitar is an amalgamation of parts I had at hand, Fishman is that black nickel, bridge is nickel, studs are nickel, tailpiece is black nickel as well. The Fishman is quite a bit darker.

Interesting, thank you! It definitely looks darker on the pickup than on the tailpiece.
