What's the hottest, most metal Tele bridge pickup?

Super Distortion T? Hot Rails? Lace Red? BKP Cobra? Anything else?

I'm thinking about picking up an Esquire. I love the looks of a traditional Tele. While I do like the tone of a traditional Tele bridge single coil, realistically, I wouldn't be using it very often. I kinda want the guitar to be deceptively vintage-looking while being metal-sounding. I want it tight with a nice midrange aggression. Nothing too specific. Just want a metal tele, TBH.

So what should I be looking at?

Thanks!

Did this up awhile back. BKP Piledrivers in drop B….can do metal, doom, tons of stuff. I was pretty shocked. The neck is amazing, took me a while to warm up to the bridge but they’re grindy/thrashy as fuck.

BKPs are expensive as fuck anymore but I got a deal on the body and the pups were included so I made em work, and I’m glad I did.

hot rails and tone zone are both great options. i've used both. liked both.

I will say man I love hot rails and cool rails both . They sound bad ass in a Tele or a strat. Especially if you want to split them for single coil sounds , I dig, I'm sure bunch of other options out there to.

Hot rails.

Joe Barden also wouldn’t suck in a kings x dog man kind of way

Tone Zone is fantastic in my Baja Tele. I swapped the bridge for single saddle steel also in this Tele. Chunky neck. Phat Tele for sure! I had Hot Rails in a strat. Was OK. Definitely very hot hot. Haven’t tried a hot rails in a Tele. I have another Tele with Area Hot T. I like that for rock and hot blues. Also a Baja Tele but stayed with 3 saddle brass bridge on that one. But I like the TZ better. Chunkier, fatter, a bit smoother.

OK, so I got the Hot Rails in... not feeling it. I'm going to give it a little bit more time, but it's got like now low-end at all!

I'm building an offset Tele similar to @Steinmetzify above and I've been wondering about this Lollar bridge pickup designed to mate with his Charlie Christian Tele pickups. The description says:
This Tele bridge pickup really brings the grease so you get a fat, clear tone with loads of sustain. The B.S. is comparable to an Imperial humbucker in output, and has distinct string definition and wide ranging dynamics. Match it with our Charlie Christian neck pickup for optimal performance and a rich overall tone. Made with 40-gauge wire, nickel plated blade and ceramic bar magnets.

Are you using 250k or 500k pots ? I use 250k with mine and have plenty of bass response

I would look into the guitarist from the band the whores. He uses a tele into a fuzz pedal but his tone redefined what I thought was possible for a single coil.

do any of these keep the tele sound but with a tighter bass?

I've been thinking of going to opposite direction and getting something like the Lollar Alnico 3 and just cranking the gain on my amp to compensate. Less bass in the pickup and let the increased gain help build the bass.

I've currently got a Fender V-Mod in my tele but still like to use it for chuggies.
