When changing preamp tubes...do I have to take something in consideration or just pop ém out and put new ones in?
And yes, I will pull the powerchord ;) But is there something else I should be aware of?

PEACE!

No, it is just as simple as you have described :)

Only one thing: Sometimes the pins are not 100% straight, so be careful when putting the new tubes in. If it doesn't work smoothly make sure the pins fit and don't force it.

I always pull the old tube and spray some contact cleaner on the pins and run it back in a couple times before putting the new tube in. Keeps all the dust gremlins out....
