Where can I buy some screws for the back of a marshall 4x12?

I checked marshallparts.com but didn't see any. I need to replace my semi-stripped screws that hold the back panel to my cab. Gold preferred.

I'll probably try that but last time I went to home depot with a screw, they didn't have one to match. There aren't many other hardware stores around here.

Which Marshall cabs have gold plated screws? I'm pretty sure all of the Marshall cabs I've owned have regular old chrome screws???

I had it redone by Jeff Swanson at Swanson Cabinets a couple of years ago. He put gold plated screws, rivets, etc...he's just too far away to go get more. Like and hour and a half drive.

I bought the platinum topped ones with the diamond chip.
They sound better.

Ahhhhhhhhh, I see. What happened to the screws that are in the cab? Maybe you can buy more from him (through the mail?)

You could put toothpicks and wood glue in the holes, then insert the screws. That would make the fit nice and tight again.

no, the screw heads are stripping...where you put the screwdriver. I won't be able to turn the screws soon.

I think he means the heads on the screws are stripping . ..

very common problem . Seeing that they are such a bitch to get in and out .

As far as the Gold plated .... I would just search Lowes online ... if they have it there they will have it at the store .

They are probably Brass ... Gold plated screws is kind of insane . But I'm no carpenter though ...

yep...I'll have to have a look at the home depot down the road. Don't think I've seen brass there though.
