Thomann doesn't carry the nobels alex looper that I need. I already got from them the Palmer isobox for the dual amp rig, but still need this

I went to their "dealers" section on their website, but no help. The Spanish deal e-mail address is broken, and the phone no. is wrong (lacks a number)

checked some other german dealers but none carry the looper.

any ideas? or maybe another looper from another company?

Few other loopers can be remote controlled, a big plus for Alex.

--> ebay

no luck on ebay either.

I emailed Nobels Co. let's see what they respond.

mind talking to me about this "remote controlled" thing? it doesn't mention it on the Nobel site

Hä? It has a jack to be remote controlled - like ALL Nobels products incl. their pedals.

but when you mean "remote controlled" ......... I don't get it...

what controller can I use to "remote control it?"

Joey, instead of a switch it has a jack. You can either switch it with a standard footswitch or a midi switcher or a fx unit like the G-Major. The advantage is that you can keep the looper close to the amps on stage (in a rack, on the back of one amp, . . .) and switch via midi or even with a Pedal like the MF2, which besides midi also provides two switching jacks to remeto control units like Alex, their A/B box, their splitter, . . . .

perfect, now I get it.... this thing will work great doc! :D

now lets wait for an answer from Nobels to where I can buy the Alex.

The MF2 is here, the Palmer isobox is on the way along with a BB preamp pedal and a Midi cable for the VH4+MF2.

I'll do the Einstein Mod very very soon too. :D

Then you should also buy a Midiswitcher like Nobels MS4 . . .

:gethim: hey there, you wanna make me go backrupt!

it makes a lot of sense actually........with the MS4 I can have the full rig (both Diezels and LJ) midi switchable, correct?

no need to use LJ or Einstein's pedals......it can all be programmed with th MF2? :D

OLAF OLAF, you're making me do things I shouldn't!

I'm about to order the Nobel MS4 from Musicstore.de (they have it)

Is there something else I need Olaf? (I'd like to order everything here so I don't have to pay for shipping again)

so far I have bought:

-Palmer Iso Box
-Nobels MF2
-Nobels MS4
-two extra Midi cables
Pending: Nobels Alex-1 Looper.

anything else to make this dual/midi footswitchable rig?

Perfect, I'm hitting the buy button right now.

I only need the Alex-1 now.
