Hey guys,

I have heard many clips of the Herbert, and I just love the heavy rhythm sound it produces, but I can't find a store anywhere near me where I can try it out. I have a Bogner Shiva through a Mills Acoustic cab for my solo work (I love its singing quality), but want something heavier for rhythm work, and from what I've heard, the Herbert seems perfect. I would like to A/B between them to assure they work well together (for my ear) before dropping a bunch of cash. The web site didn't help me so I am hoping someone here may know of a shop that has Diezel in stock.

It would be a nice drive - but you may try Chuck Levins in DC area of Maryland. It's pretty hard to find a dealer who actually has a Herbert in stock - at least it was for me when I ordered mine.

You might try to find a used one that you could flip if you don't like it. Warning - shameless plug ahead.... If you are interested, I'm selling my Einstein right now (see the classifieds section). ;) It's too similar to the Herbert for the tones I want (mostly heavier stuff) to justify keeping. While not it's not as mean as the Herbert with the mid-cut engaged, it can still get pretty heavy - even more so when you hit it with a clean boost.
