hello, probably i'd need an AC adapter to power both a wha pedal (fulltone clyde deluxe wha) and my Nobels MF1 midi pedalboard.

do you know any adapter capable to do this? or is it better to get 2 separate adapters?

the wha needs: regulated 9 volts (200 ma.) standard 2.1mm x 5.5mm end with a Negative Center Pin.

nobels mf1: DC 9-12V - 300mA

thanx

max 800mA? would this be enough to supply 5 x 9V pedals - 250mA?
then, the wha pedal needs 250mA in 9V, the nobels mf1 needs 9-12V on 300mA, i'm a little confused

Depends on the pedals.
I doubt that your booteek wah sucks 200mA, it sucks something like 5mA, the Nobels (due to the display) sucks definitely 200-300mA. That would result 305mA or so, so enogh headroom for another digital delay and reverb and a distortion.

ok now i figured it out :)

by the way, how many mA's could provide a single output on this ac transformer?that is important i guess, especially for the nobels mf1 that requires 300mA ...differentely i guess the pedalboard could not work properly and worst the transformer may burn...

last, i read Modul 505 is 500 mA, not 800

It is a 15V supply which is rectified to DC and then each out has a 7809 stabilizer. Each of it handles max. 1A - but since the 15V supply delivers just 1A the sum shouldn't be higher.
==> No probs with a 300mA sucking device.

ok thanx..i asked that because a friend of mine told me if for example i have to power the midi pedalboard that requires 300mA and the transormes could give...let's say only 200mA per single output...the transformer can burn and the pedalboard surely would work badly.

i'm not into electronics so....i have to ask :)

thanx!!

which one to chose now? what if i want to power more than 2 pedals and pedalboard?

always: mf1 : 300mA
+
wha : 200mA
+
other effcts...

this site has more than one ac adapters option...

You can also buy the Harley Benton Power Plant.
Has 8x9V DC (total 500mA), 1x12 DC (250mA) and 1x12 AC (250mA), comes with a set of cables and so on . . .
It doesn't matter (with this unit) if you take the 500mA from one out or if all together have 500mA - the voltage regulator handles 500mA (thats the reason).

Should be more than enough for your needs.

thanx! :) this is cheaper too :P and with cables
do you think it is good built? i mean will effects sound good with the harley benton?

seems similar but a lot more expensive..

i don't care about the good looking case...i'd like the pedals to receive a good quality power.
do you justify the difference in price?

I've bought the PowerPlant two days ago, received it today and will see . . . Read a review in a german magazine though (from a guy who builds pedals) which was good.
It needs a simple mod though - those 9V outs are 8.2V actually since they are using a kind of protective diode in front of it (which is unnecessary) and once that is bridged one gets 9V from the unit.
You can of course buy the T-Rex stuff, why not - I just don't see any reason to pay big € for such a simple thing like a power supply. The T-Rex also shares its ground for all 9V outs - if you want a unit with seperate grounding you need this Voodoo unit, which costs 300 Euros. Overkill IMO, but to each its own . . .

i'll wait your rewiew so :D

if i have to chose i prefer not to pay extra cash.... :P

could be the 8.2 V a problem leaving it stock? i'm scared about burning my pedals :) or having unwanted hum...
